Just read that IREN plans to massively increase its processing capacity – expanding by 50% and preparing an At-the-Market offering. Interesting to see how such infrastructure companies are now expanding more aggressively.
The b300 initiative seems to be a core project in this effort. What piques my curiosity: such capacity expansions usually require significant investments. The At-the-Market offering could be a clever financing strategy – more flexible than traditional capital increases.
The b300 infrastructure expansion indicates that IREN is expecting rising demand. Whether driven by the energy transition, data centers, or other factors remains open. But the message is clear: they are preparing for growth.
What do you think? Is this a smart strategic move or more reactive to market pressure? I find it particularly interesting that they are pushing forward with b300 alongside these capacity plans.
