Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 12, according to X platform user SnowShadow, Tencent’s platform SkillHub is accused of mass scraping all skill data from the open-source project ClawHub and importing it into their own platform.

OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger publicly responded, stating that he had previously received an email from Tencent complaining that their rate limiting affected the scraping speed. He said that while Tencent was heavily consuming their server resources, they did not support the project in any way, leading to server costs rising into the five-figure range. Peter Steinberger then called on Tencent to provide some support instead of unilaterally consuming resources.
