So simple, yet so difficult for many, because they get lost in endless “what if” scenarios.
Could we see a longer accumulation phase and more of a downtrend? Maybe.
Could things heat up faster with today’s developments in the space? Also maybe.
Crypto, sitting at $2T mcap at the dawn of a digital, AI driven, wealth seeking century, remains undervalued. In my opinion, crypto will make new ATHs. I’m confident in that.
No one can predict exactly how things will play out or which assets will lead the next expansion phase. But the broader direction crypto is moving in is far more predictable. A total market cap that still sits below that of individual U.S. mega cap companies is easier to contextualize and assess. Ideally, the space would evolve beyond speculative altcoins toward mechanisms that allow investors, similar to traditional equity markets, to hold regulated, clearly defined ownership stakes in the companies building the underlying infrastructure, enabling direct participation in their growth.
Until then, I’ll concentrate my capital on the major protocol layers, like Ethereum and Solana, which have the infrastructure, adoption, and institutional momentum to provide real participation in the growth of the crypto ecosystem. If you have capital to deploy, do it intentionally and with a long term expansion cycle mindset. If you don’t, don’t stress, stay patient and stay engaged. The next expansion phase toward new ATHs will create multiple asymmetric trading opportunities. Memes again? Probably. Meme coin trading is quick, reactive, and fueled by hype and momentum. Something new? Time will tell, but be prepared to recognize it. Another layer 1 focused by institutions (ZRO?), RWA assets onchain, AI agents driven protocols/trading environment, stablecoin infrastructure focus (CRCL?)...
Don’t get trapped in short term thinking or daily noise. It’s close to impossible to know in advance how the cycle will unfold or which sectors will lead the next expansion phase.
I’m a buyer and a long term optimist when it comes to crypto.
