People engaged in internal conflict are fighting in their minds, while clear-headed individuals organize their thoughts on paper. Many of the pains are not caused by the events themselves, but by overthinking. Write down your entanglements, note your worries, and as you write, you'll start to see clearly what to let go of and what to hold on to. Don't worry about stopping the internal struggle. There's actually just one trick: don't overthink, just write it down first.
