The governor of Russia’s Bransk Region, Alexander Bogomaz, said on social media on the 10th that the regional capital, Bryansk City, was hit by Ukrainian missile strikes, resulting in 6 civilian deaths and 37 injuries. Bogomaz stated that the injured have been hospitalized, with some in serious condition. He described the attack as an act of “terrorism” and a deliberate assault on civilians by Ukraine. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said in a video speech that Ukrainian forces targeted a “critical” military factory in Bryansk that produces electronic components and parts for missiles. The Ukrainian military reported launching several British-made “Storm Shadow” air-launched cruise missiles, causing significant damage to the facility. Bryansk City is located in southwestern Russia, about 100 kilometers from the Russia-Ukraine border. (Xinhua)
