Amtech Semiconductor Latest News!

On March 6th, Amtech Semiconductor (China) Co., Ltd. issued a notice to customers.

Amtech China stated that starting from 19:02 on March 3, 2026, Nexperia B.V. has mass-disabled the office accounts of all employees in China, resulting in the inability to access critical work environments such as Office 365 and SAP systems, which has significantly impacted Amtech China’s operations.

As a result, some production processes, such as “customer-supplied wafers placed into production after SAP order,” experienced disruptions. Orders that had already been entered into SAP and moved into production were not affected. Amtech China said that currently, the IT and business departments in China have jointly initiated emergency plans to prioritize restoring key systems and production scheduling.

Amtech China stated that most of the business operations have now resumed, ensuring basic production and operation. The company is making every effort to minimize potential impacts on subsequent production and delivery.

Notably, on the afternoon of March 6th, Amtech Semiconductor’s parent company, Wingtech Technology, saw its stock price surge sharply, with an increase of over 9% at one point.

Last month, the Dutch enterprise court announced the verdict in the Amtech Semiconductor case, deciding to investigate allegations of mismanagement at Amtech Semiconductor.

On February 13th, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce stated that China has taken note of the relevant news. “We believe that the immediate priority is to restore the stability and smooth operation of the global semiconductor supply chain, which is in the common interest of the international industry, including China and the Netherlands. We hope the Dutch side will work constructively, and from the perspective of maintaining the stability of the global semiconductor industry and supply chain, create favorable conditions for both companies to resolve internal disputes through negotiations.”
