CITIC Futures: Continued Tight Supply and Demand, Lithium Carbonate Trading Slightly Strong

Currently, the fundamentals of lithium carbonate are marginally weakening but still relatively strong, with the impact of macroeconomic sentiment decreasing. From January to February, both supply and demand faced partial plant maintenance and production cuts, but overall, the market remains tightly balanced, and social inventories are expected to continue decreasing. However, at the same time, supply and demand are marginally weakening, which could affect market sentiment, but further observation is needed. At present, demand expectations for March are relatively good, and supply will also see a significant increase in imports. Before the resumption of production at Jianshixia, the market is expected to remain tightly balanced. However, as the Spring Festival approaches, it is advisable to stay cautious and consider buying after the holiday. (CITIC Futures)
