I jumped on the AI doom narrative early, was pretty convinced about it. Then what? Time just passed. The whole doomsday angle sort of faded into the background noise of my mind. Funny how conviction works—you can hold a belief so intensely, only to find yourself forgetting you ever cared that much about it. Makes you wonder what else we're getting wrong about the next big wave of tech.
