L1 Competition between SUI and SEI: Who Has the Upper Hand?

Both blockchains have their own strengths. SUI leads with an absolute advantage in trading volume, but SEI has the edge in retail user distribution. Interestingly, today’s token unlock for SEI went surprisingly smoothly, while SUI rode the hot ETF concept to a wave of green candles.

From a technical perspective, both are trading near the critical 50-day moving average line, which is a noteworthy support level. Currently, the market is buzzing about the development potential of these two "Giga-chains," with the trade-off between trading volume and ecosystem distribution becoming the main consideration for investors. Will SUI’s liquidity depth or SEI’s community activity drive stronger long-term growth?

To be honest, the hype around SUI's ETF is just hot air; the real retention still depends on the ecosystem. On the SEI side, retail stickiness is indeed quite good.

Well... the SEI unlock has been smoothly absorbed, indicating that the big players have long since prepared their bagholders. They really treat retail investors like fools. SUI relies on ETF concept hype; this trick is as old as it gets, and the smell of a Ponzi scheme is getting stronger.

Sei's recent unlocks have been absorbed so smoothly, it's really impressive. The community's cohesion is no joke.

Hmm... SEI's unlocking was digested so smoothly? I'm a bit surprised. SUI wants to crush just by trading volume? Community activity is the real key, bro. Sticking around the 50-day moving average, whoever breaks first wins. But on the other hand, how to balance liquidity depth and community enthusiasm, it's really a headache. SEI has a solid number of retail users, which might actually be more stable in the long run.
