I’ve been thinking a lot about how Bitcoin Cash has largely traded independently. Over the past few years, it has established its own upward trend, very similar to $XMR. Both show clean HTF structures, which makes me believe that institutions and larger players have been positioning early in the background.
That positioning now seems to be playing out through price discovery in Monero and renewed upward momentum in Bitcoin Cash. From here, it increasingly looks like $BCH could start (continue) to outperform.
While the ATHs is still far away, a clean break above the $719 + 1k level with momentum would open up a wide range of possibilities. We’ve seen with XMR what kind of momentum hard assets can generate in these phases.
