The managing partner of a top investment firm recently pointed out that now is a critical moment to promote the standardization process of cryptocurrencies. He believes that the developer community urgently needs a clear legal framework to guide innovation directions. A core bill has reached maturity, with the main goal of protecting decentralization features, providing full support for developers, and creating a fairer and more transparent competitive environment for entrepreneurs. This initiative is expected to lay the foundation for compliant development of the entire blockchain ecosystem.

According to the database, how many times have we heard "critical moment" and "mature advancement" this year... How long has it been since the last promise? Suggest adding it to the Guinness World Records.

The legal framework is here. Can it truly protect decentralization? I remain skeptical.

actually... "clear legal framework" is such a loaded term tho. who decides what's clear? what about the trust assumptions baked into these regulatory mechanisms? (cf. Szabo on formalized law)
regulators will def try to co-opt decentralization under the guise of "protection" — seen this movie before tbh

Honestly, I've heard this rhetoric too many times... Standardization, legal frameworks, protecting decentralization—what's the result? Isn't it still big institutions calling the shots?

If this wave can truly be implemented, it would be amazing, but... there are many so-called good bills.

Standardization sounds good, but I'm afraid it's just another prelude to the harvest of the little guys...
