Want to list on an exchange? You need money. Whether it's CEX or DEX, review fees, listing fees, market liquidity depth—these all cost money, from a few thousand dollars to millions.

But building a community? The cost is almost zero.

If you don’t believe it, look at the projects that are currently trending. When their initial ecosystem was immature, how did they do it? They engaged with users in the community. Answering questions one by one, discussing and iterating on directions—turning participants into genuine supporters of the project. At this stage, it’s about time and effort, not funds.

The simple truth is: listing on an exchange is just putting your coin into a trading pair, but real liquidity and trust come from organic community growth. A cohesive community is worth much more than splashy advertising.

That's right, the upfront fee is really not worth mentioning. The key is having someone who genuinely holds the coins. --- Community is the key. These days, who still trusts advertisements? Everyone's been burned too many times. --- Indeed, projects without community support are doomed once they go live. Since they're going to burn money anyway, better to invest in operations. --- Laugh out loud, many projects spend millions to launch and end up ignored after two weeks. Truly. --- That's why I only pay attention to projects where the founders are still in the group. At least their attitude is clear. --- A few days ago, I saw another one. They hyped it up fiercely before launch, but there was no community foundation at all. Now the price... you all saw it. --- Ultimately, it's a trust issue. Community is a reflection of trust. --- But honestly, building a community is much harder than launching. You need real skills.

This is the truth. Burning money on exchanges is useless; the key is that people must trust you. --- Community is the core. Without genuine supporters, any coin is just air. --- Exactly right. Look at those rising projects, aren't they all supported by their communities? --- Instead of throwing money at exchanges, it's better to invest in community management. This logic is clear. --- Indeed, projects that have been working with their communities early on tend to have higher survival rates. I've seen it myself. --- It sounds simple, but very few projects can actually execute good community operations. --- Some have potential, but we must admit that some projects with good communities still fail. It's not just a community problem. --- The core is one sentence: talent is fundamental. --- This theory is correct, but the premise is that your project itself has some substance. --- Low cost of community operation is true, but it takes time. This needs to be calculated clearly.

Community is easy to talk about but hard to execute. Projects that genuinely stick with user interaction are few and far between. --- It's the same old theory, but how many projects actually care about community these days... --- Projects that spent big money getting on exchanges early are all dead now. The ones that seriously built community are still around. --- Sounds right, but most teams cut corners when it comes to execution. --- Community is good, but you need marketing to go with it. Community alone won't get you anywhere. --- I think the exchange listing fees aren't that bad, the real money sink is maintaining liquidity afterward. --- Fair point. Look at early projects like DOGE—they grew from pure community-driven momentum. --- The thing is, who has the patience to answer questions every day? Most teams just hand it off to operations and call it a day.
