Recently, I was a bit stunned by Walrus's creator reward event. Looking through the project leaderboard, I found that the reward pool of 300,000 $WAL had 24,000 participants, and this level of enthusiasm truly exceeded expectations.

At first, I thought it was just an ordinary marketing campaign, something to casually participate in and share the rewards. But after reviewing the participation data, I realized that the competition was much more intense than it appeared on the surface. However, a closer look at the reward structure reveals some interesting points — the top 100 share 70% of the entire prize pool, and Chinese creators have a separate support of 150,000 $WAL. This means that as long as the content quality is solid, rankings won't be entirely determined by randomness.

I spent some time studying the $WAL project itself. It mainly focuses on liquidity solutions in the DeFi space, and its technical architecture does have some merits. The project team encourages creators to produce high-quality content to attract DeFi-interested users into the ecosystem. This logic is quite clear.

The current plan is to produce a few in-depth original articles that thoroughly dissect Walrus's core mechanisms. Since the participation is high, we need to put extra effort into content quality. Anyway, this reward scale is still attractive in the current Web3 environment and is worth taking seriously.

If you're also participating in this event, feel free to share your thoughts on $WAL in the comments. Everyone can exchange ideas, team up to climb the rankings, and make the most of this reward opportunity.
