Iranian officials: A phone call from Trump could end the conflict.
Jin10 data reported on June 21 that, according to CNN, Iranian presidential spokesman Majid Farahani stated that if U.S. President Trump ordered Israeli leaders to stop attacks on Iran, diplomacy with Iran could be “easy” to resume. “Iran believes in peaceful dialogue, whether direct or indirect doesn’t matter. President Trump just needs to make a call to Israel to easily stop the war.” He reiterated Iran’s position that negotiations are impossible while Israel is bombing Iran. Farahani said that Iran would not support halting nuclear enrichment activities, but he added that concessions are possible.
