| What is an Order Book?
· An Order Book is a digital record of buy and sell orders for a specific asset, organized by price level. It displays bids from buyers, asks from sellers, and the respective amounts in real-time. The number of orders at each price point is known as market depth, and order book data is essential for traders to analyze investments.
· Gate.MT order book is divided into four sections: Long VS Short, Bids, Asks, and Trades.
· Long VS Short: This section shows the market sentiment towards a specific asset, based on real-time margin trading loan statistics, and can be used as a reference.
· Bids: A list of buying orders with their corresponding prices and amounts.
· Asks: A list of selling orders with their corresponding prices and amounts.
· Trades: This section displays the latest trades in the market, combining both buying and selling orders.
|Note: The order book's data is updated in real-time and is a valuable source of information for traders to make informed decisions.

· Order book data is a valuable source of information for traders as it enhances market transparency by displaying real-time market sentiment and traders' willingness to trade. This information is critical for investment analysis.
· However, it's worth noting that order book data is constantly changing, making it more suitable for short-term analysis rather than long-term trend analysis. Traders should keep this in mind when using order book data to inform their investment decisions.
